Beating the Flu with Vitamins Nutrition |

Look in any health section of the local news and there is a good chance you will see an article about the flu season getting an early start. The Flu always follows close to the start of school. All the students, facility and retailers who tend to them back from vacations and the like is the perfect storm to start spreading virus. Many say it is smart to get a flu shot as a preemptive strike but my favorite line of defense is vitamins nutrition. This time of the year is great reminder to how important vitamins nutrition is. Just watch the CBS news clip below. Everyone is anticipating the return of swine flu but that vaccine is not available yet. This is why I turn to vitamins minerals and antioxidants.
Like the guy in the news clip, I too don’t like watching a medical professional use a needle. As they said in the report, flu is the most dangerous for older people but even for us younger, getting a shot or pumping up the immune system with vitamins nutrition is important. Apparently, select CVS stores are offering a free flu shot. I figure by combining both the vaccine and vitamins nutrition it will be hard for any viruses to make us spend our sick days.
