build muscle

There is no getting around it, you have got to move in order to lose weight and build muscle. You can't wish for it or pray for it and simply imaging it may be helpful but you have still got to do the work. Aerobics can be a fun way to build muscle. I started out with two classes a week at the local gym and have added on since then.

At first it was all I could do to make it through an hour long class. I got easily winded and my muscles ached big time. But I have to say that after forcing myself to go for a few weeks I was sold. I began to feel improvement before I really saw improvement. What I mean by that, is that I felt better. I was more alert and felt extremely invigorated. My appetite was suppressed and I wanted to eat only good food. My muscles, although sore, really felt stronger. I knew I was beginning to build muscle and lose weight. I was on a roll and definitely ready to keep it going.

Now I do four aerobics workouts a week and have added two yoga and pilates classes. I have found that when I build muscle with aerobics it is very important to stretch out those muscles. I have improved my flexibility and core strength through yoga and pilates. All of these classes have made a big difference in my life!
